We can combine you or your group with another small class with flexible scheduling. We always have a variety of scheduled classes to choose from which are open to the public and continuously updated on our schedule (above).
In need of emergency certification and can't wait for a class? We can usually accommodate these emergency needs with only a few days notice by offering individual, one-on-one training. The cost of an individual emergency class is 2.5 times the regular rate. A pricing schedule is also available for two or three individuals desiring a combined, short-notice class.
We offer discounts for large groups, referrals, multiple class participants (BLS/ACLS/PALS), AED purchasers, Police/Fire/EMS, and to members of our US military.
Discounts cannot be combined.
Payments & Deposits:
The cost per participant is listed above under the class type. A minimum deposit consisting of half the fee is required in advance to reserve individual seats in all classes or confirm a group’s date/time choice in our schedule; skills assessments require full payment in advance due to the limited number of openings and often requires an instructor to come in for a single participant, so they will not make plans for or arrive in time for skills sessions not paid for in advance. You may secure your scheduling by providing debit/credit card information and, if you wish to avoid the card processing fee, pay in full by cash or check at the class; we will then reverse the charge against your card in the amount of your deposit. Pre-payment of the minimum deposit is required but you may choose to pay up to the full charge for your class using one of the methods of payment accepted and outlined here above.
Reservations are contingent upon the timely receipt of deposit (if not secured by credit card), as available openings are assigned on a first-paid/first-served basis. Reservations not secured by the required deposit may have their seats offered to others when the class reaches capacity.
Should it become necessary to modify, reschedule or cancel a reservation, please notify us as early as possible so that the opening can be offered to others in need of training and unnecessary supplies aren’t ordered and prepared. Cancellations/no shows, or changes are subject to forfeiture of the required deposit/fee and are non-refundable. Approved refunds (i.e. payments in excess of the deposit, reversals for in-person payments, etc) will be provided by the same method as the original payment within seven (7) days of the class for which the deposit/payment was left in deposit. Reservations not secured by the required deposit may have their seats offered to others when the class reaches capacity.
American Heart Association information:
All AHA certification cards are valid for a period of two years from certification date. AHA certification cards are issued to recipients upon successful completion of instruction, written test and skills assessment (when applicable) if payment in full has been received. All classes comply fully with the latest American Heart Association science (2015 guidelines). Our pricing structure remains well below AHA's national and regional averages, as well as Red Cross for parallel class offerings (documentation available).
Acceptance of Terms:
By registering and/or making required payment, you agree to these terms and conditions. Unlike others in this business, we don't cancel classes that don't "make", even when teaching very small classes isn't profitable. We place people above profits and if they are counting on us and have done their part by making the required payment, we will do ours regardless of profit margin. Until which time there are registered participants who have made the required payment, we reserve the right to modify and/or cancel classes. Financing options for purchases exceeding $99 are offered to our customers as a convenience by a third party, Paypal, and are subject to their credit approval process and terms.
